OK – we know it is only spring , but we say it is never too early to go tropical, and to get you in the mood we have concocted this fab tropical smoothie packed with vanilla, papaya, pear and banana.

Papayas is a fantastic fruit for your health and wellbeing. It’s rich in vitamins B and C and beta-carotene which converts into vitamin A in the body, plus it’s black seeds are also packed with fibre to aid digestion. Pears are also high in dietary fibre and only contribute 58kcal per 100g. Banana keeps your smoothie super smooth and is rich in vitamin B6, C and potassium to boot. Pretty good huh?

Top this with a vanilla yogurt or even fresh vanilla for your breakfast and it will fill you up nicely until lunchtime!

Ingredients

100ml vanilla yogurt
1 scoop UltraTone Diet Protein
1/2 banana
1/2 medium pear
1/2 medium papaya
A dash of cinnamon and nutmeg

Directions

  1. Peel the banana, papaya but not the pear and cut them all into smaller pieces.
  2. Add the vanilla yogurt and the fruit to your blender with one scoop of UltraTone Protein.
  3. Blend until smooth and even.
  4. Decorate your smoothie with some cinnamon and nutmeg.
